Elizabeth Farnesi earned her undergraduate degree in Art Education at
Northern Illinois University then went on to get a Master’s degree in drawing and
painting from Governors State University.
Farnesi has been an art teacher at Wilkins Jr. High since 2005. She is part of the Illinois Art Education Association and National Art Education Association and has not only presented at State and National level but has also presented in District 109 and at the Kane County Institute. She is a working artist outside of school and her work has been seen in many juried exhibitions. Liz has been published in the School Arts Magazine as well as the IAEA Mosaic. She was awarded the Illinois Art Education Association Jr. High Teacher of the Year Award in 2018.
